Stuart was a founding member of the firm which became Williamson West in 1985 and he grew the practice with a particular emphasis on servicing the financial requirements of the medical profession, and GPs in particular. He has always had a commitment to the needs and wellbeing of the firm’s clients. Stuart is particularly interested in looking after private consultants including those operating as a clinical group.
Andrew joined Williamson West in 1987 having qualified with Grant Thornton in Manchester. Andrew is passionate about general practice and the GP business model and likes to engage with clients using his knowledge of GP funding and the direct effect this has on the delivery of clinical care.
Out of work hours you may find Andrew enjoying the delights of working the locks on the English canal network.
Richard studied in Oxford and trained as an accountant in London. He spent some time working abroad with KPMG before joining Williamson West in 1989. Richard looks after a range of GP practices and enjoys helping them through the various hurdles in his straightforward pragmatic way.
In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and bridge.
Darren qualified with a firm in Oxfordshire before looking to specialise in the Healthcare sector with Williamson West. Darren has always been heavily involved with all matters concerning the NHS pension scheme and the annual reporting requirements for members of the scheme. Darren also takes the lead on the firm’s corporate clients and has considerable experience in looking after LLPs and limited companies.
Darren enjoys being active and keeping fit as well as running around after his family!
Jo has accumulated a wealth of experience in GP practice finances with Williamson West, including negotiating transition from PMS to GMS and assisting clients generally with the NHS contract system.
Outside of the office Jo enjoys horse riding and reading.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Alex gained considerable experience in general accountancy practice along with an internal accountancy role and he has now brought this knowledge to the medical sector.
Alex’s hobbies include rock climbing, football and gardening.
